The hotel had a central location next to beach. And it was also really close to the ferry from Orkney, sea front and the Scrabster ferry terminal.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this lovely old and quaint place. The rooms were nicely decorated, the breakfast was marvellous and excellent with quality ingredients. The hotel was set in a central area not far from the Scrabster ferry terminal and the railway station, the beach, and the local pubs and restaurants, and Thurso.

We didn't want to say goodbye and would come here again. Magnificent and beautiful location close to beach and restaurants, met what was needed. It was also close enough to shops and restaurants. There were very comfy beds and an electric kettle, central heating, and a work desk inside the room. Btw, it was overlooking sea.
